The joy that never stays

The soul which was nurtured From a young age and was left in the lions’ den for feasting The news of birth is followed by death Moreover marriages it is undisputable That divorce attorneys are in for a big bargain Profound friendships end to frienemesis. What’s the point of celebrating when it could be water under the bridge in a matter of seconds Why then should we have joy when it’s short lived. It never stays Its good news today, it’s another story tomorrow A story which could be filled with terror The joy that never stays Is it really here to mock and ridicule us
