Don't wake me up
As I close my eyes for the night I feel a bit of relief as I travel to the world of wonders a world where poverty and riches cannot be distinguished. Where opinions are limitless Minds can explore. With one wish I hang on To my dreams of cars and parties, Happiness which in the real world, Is nothing but an episode in the drama of pain Don’t wake me up I would wish With my eyes tightly closed My imagination would come to live What I hoped for would be a reality Solitude a nightmare Don’t wake me up I would pray. Don’t take the happiest moment of my life but that would come to pass waking up the next day the pains awaits. Tears fill my eyes as I lament alone. When night came I would also Say my everyday wish “DON’T WAKE ME UP”
